KC Trip

This past week Tim, Micah and I drove down to KC for the National Worship leaders conference and some family time. Some of the week's highlights included: safe travel to and from KC without completely losing our minds (Micah does not care for car rides or his car seat and definitely voices his displeasure), Micah's first time swimming, 2 nights of barbecue (Swagger and Fiorella's Jack Stack -mmmmm!!), Hallmarks Crown Center, and a quick antique shop stop in Liberty.

He loves to fly!

Jesse James bank is in Liberty, MO and it is where Jesse performed the first successful daylight robbery. Just in case you couldn't see the signs, Micah thought he would point them out for you. : )

Here we are at the Crayola Store at Crown Center. As you can see, Micah is coming along quite nicely with his artistic abilities and writing skills. We're quite proud.

Just a few minutes of happy times in the car. Of course it's more bearable when Mommy is sitting right next to you providing the entertainment. : )

Whoo hooo!!! We're ready to go swimming!

awww....

Micah absolutely LOVED swimming.  At first, he just soaked it all in and didn't moved much but after a few minutes he had it all figured out. He was so intense and serious about his swimming. He moved his little arms and legs so fast it was quite funny : )
