Right now I (Ruth) am sitting on my parents couch at 6am while the rest of the family is sound asleep, all the children included. These past few days have been wonderful to spend some time with our Colorado family. Micah has been such a trooper and has loved seeing his family and participating in the Christmas festivities. To see Micah interact with family is so great. Micah is learning everyone's names as well. We will ask him "where is ________" and he will look around the room until he finds them and then gives a little chuckle - too cute!
Cuddle time with Grandpa
Checking out the Christmas tree
Can I open it now???
Hanging out with Nyleah and Adalyn - they are so sweet with each other. Both are like little mommies and love to dote on "Baby Micah."
I'm thinking Mom and Dad need a larger mantle... or smaller stockings : )
Adalyn turned five on the 18th... can hardly believe that! This little girl loves sweets more than anyone I know - especially cupcakes. So we thought that a cupcake piggybank would be a fitting gift.
Uncle Tim & Micah
Aunt Alexa & Micah
One of the highlights of the gift opening time this year was most definitely Nyleah. She just LOVES baby dolls. I believe most of her presents were babies. As she was opening each of the dolls she would let out this hilarious little scream - what a character!
Sweet jersey, Josiah!
Some spiffy duds from Uncle Nate & Aunt Faithy
Mom with her dutch oven from all of us kids. I will refrain from any more comments
about this gift. ; )
Josiah and the Grandkids with their new sleeping bags - these were used last night for the "sleepover" at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Of course, Micah joined them all in spirit as he snoozed in the pack and play : )
Look at these little visions in red
Nyleah and her Uncle Tim cuddling before bedtime
As you can see, Mom worked so hard and did a fabulous job making all the kids Christmas outfits. They all looked so adorable in them.
Do you know how hard it is to get a decent photo with a family this large and with little ones.... and it is only going to get more difficult with our growing family.
The Lawsons
The Tim Ahlman Family
The soon-to-be Sindts
The Dave Ahlman Family
Unfortunately we are missing a photo of Ben, Ashley and Aubrey (who is due anyday!) Apparently Aubrey was a little camera shy ; ) We are hoping that she will make a quick entry into the world before we fly back to Omaha tomorrow... come on Aubrey!
