Easter 2013

Micah's first church Easter Egg hunt

All dressed up for Easter worship. Even though he woke up early and we went to the early service, Micah was so well behaved during church! Whoo hoo!

Micah was a "very helpful" sous chef and helped me make Daddy's surprise coffee cake.
Following a 3 hour nap, Micah was pumped to start all the Easter festivities.
My two favorite guys in the whole world.
Daddy being a goof when we were trying to set up the camera for our family photo.
2/3 smiles... not bad. At least he's looking at the camera : )
Micah surely didn't waste time enjoying the treasures from his Easter eggs.

Some eggs were harder to open than others. : )

Look what the Easter Bunny brought me!

Easter dinner -  honeybaked ham (or "bacon" as Micah called it), cheesy potatoes, asparagus, salad (not the Midwestern jello type) and fruit salad.
Egg dyeing time! This year was Micah's first time being hands on with helping with the eggs. Much fun was had by all but let's just say that Micah's fingers were brightly colored for a few days and we didn't end up with the same amount of eggs we started with.
Overall, we had a wonderful Easter with our family and more important celebrating our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are incredibly blessed to be called His children. Happy Easter everyone! He is Risen!
