August 2015

Happy FIRST Birthday to this fun-loving little man! What joy you have brought to our family! You are full of energy, smiles, strength, adventure, baby talk, and snuggles. You are a bright ray of sunshine and we are thrilled to see what God has in store for you life.

Obviously Shiloh was not at all amused with his first year photo shoot. Bummer.
Maybe some cake could cheer him up?? He was no having the cake at all... until we game him a fork. What a proper little baby!

Want some, Mom??

We certainly missed several of our family and close friends that were on vacation, but we still had a great time celebrating this special little one!

The ball pit balls from Grandma and Grandpa Ahlman were definitely a hit with both boys.
 Homemade ball pit time!
 Happy camper Shiloh
On August 22nd Tim and I got to complete one of my "bucket list" items by seeing Mumford and Sons live. Of course, they were pretty spectacular, as was the view in Salida and my pretty hot date.

 The cutest Underwater Explorer/Cowboy/Firefighter ever!
Praise God Shiloh seems to have outgrown his milk intolerance!! Now our struggle is broadening his palate with finger foods. Would you believe this boy detests pasta?? I'm praying with more time and exposure this will change because Italian food is this chef's favorite!
One afternoon, I traveled up to Ft. Collins to pay Faith a visit at her salon. She certainly worked her wonders on my hair. Following my pampering session, we met up with Josiah and surprised him with one of his favorite activities - a trampoline park! What a blast we had! I honestly did not think we would have as much fun as we did. Granted, I was sore for a few days after, but it was totally worth it. And Josiah is quite the little parcore (sp??) stud!
Daddy snuggle time. Since my return to work, Shiloh has definitely become more of a Daddy's boy. What a little love!
