September 2015

Look who's in his second year of preschool.... and at home! What a blessing we have to be able to teach our boys from home. It for sure has it's challenges but we can already see some of the fruits of this decision. After much prayer and consideration, Tim and I decided to try Classical Conversations with Micah. This rich curriculum is nothing short of extraordinary and we are incredibly thankful for the community we meet with once a week. With Micah still being in preschool we are not studying the review as heavily as he will in later years but it is already amazing to see what he has retained at such a young age! What a little sponge his mind is!

Learning about apples and then painting with them!!

13th month old Mr. Shiloh continues to be a bright spot and always keeps us on our toes. He definitely wants to do everything the way his big brother does.

"Should've had a V-8 Daddy!"
To balance out Shiloh's more energetic and wild side, he LOVES to be sweet on and snuggle blankies, stuffed animals, and best of all, US! I certainly take advantage of this time with little Shiloh
The last weekend in September the boys and I ventured out to Omaha to spend some precious time with some dear friends, The Cerone's, and Micah's Birth Family. The boys were amazing little travelers and we had such a good time catching up with everyone.
What a blessing to be in relationship with all of Micah's Birth Family. Even though the miles separate us, we truly cherish any time that we do get to spend together.

What trip to Omaha in the Fall would be complete without a trip to the greatest pumpkin patch of all time, Valas?? Of course, the seeing Autumn, Kevin and Linda was the best part of our time at Valas and we sure had fun together!
