Cul-de-sac buddies, Edison and Micah

Crazy hair, don't care : )
Kasey was asked to speak at an Adoptive family education night and share her perspective as a Birthmother. Sweetly, she invited us and Emery and I were able to go. What a special night it was to see each other and hear her story. We are so proud of Kasey and the hope for her future.

Happy 7th Birthday Micah James! What a sweetheart you are! We love you dearly and are so incredibly thankful Jesus made us a family. You are incredibly bright, an excellent big brother to Shiloh and Emery, always eager to help others, are still a bookworm and have a vivid imagination. The Lord is working in your life and we cannot wait to see His plans unfold in your path.

Mr Bookworm, Micah, was so excited to read the entire Magic Tree House Series. And now he anxiously awaits Mrs. Osborne's next book.
Emery and her sweet Daddy before our final adoption meeting at Christian Family Care. What a special day this was to move forward with her adoption process, share a little of our process and then be prayed over by all the staff.
I mean seriously, could a baby girl be any cuter???
Books before bed with Grandpa Ahlman - of course, in his Kermit the Frog voice.
Go Micah!!
Awesome Coach, Daddy
Micah opted to celebrate his birthday a little later this year so we could celebrate with some out of town family. I had so much fun decorating his Robot cake this year  - his reaction was totally worth it! Love you, Micah!

Naturally, one of Emery's Aunts had to be the one to do her first pony and pig tails - at just 3 months!!! So incredibly precious and adorable!

On a few "cold' days here in AZ a snow bunny outfit seemed appropriate for Emmy Mae as we strolled around the cul-de-sac.The outfit was a gift from Kasey  - glad we got to use it a handful of times :)
