July 2nd, 2022 - such an exciting, HOT and bittersweet day for the Lawson Crew. We were so sad to leave such good neighbor friends, but hopeful of what the Lord had awaiting us in our new home. Many thanks to some good friends for helping us load, unload, bring lunch & dinner, take care of the girlies and clean our former home. We could not have done it without them!
The first trip over to Via de Olivos, just the original 4.
No more subdivision for us!
The move took 1.5 days - all day Saturday and then after church and almost until midnight doing because the movers showed up so late. Our last trip from our old home as a family. Only right and fitting that Tim has a load of eggs with him.
The first few glorious mornings were spent just soaking in all the glory of this home and neighborhood. Cattle for neighbors in the front yard - so cool!
And training time for Micah to mow! Whoo hooo!!
The move brought a big girl bed for Little Miss - she could not have been more delighted.
One week after moving in, the boys and I headed up to Colorado for a very special reunion - the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Programs 25th Anniversary!
While in the area, we stopped by my Ahlman Grandparent's old home. Oh, the memories made in this home and backyard.
A definite highlight of our year- celcelebrating Shiloh and the gift of emrbyo adoption in ours and so many others lives.
How special it was to have 2 representatives join us, whom helped to reverse Roe v. Wade just the month before! One of them wrote the amicus brief for the Supreme Court, regarding life beginning at conception with Hannah (the first Snowflake) as the example!
The Gilly Girls Band - 2 different sets of Snowflake Twins that have the most incredible harmonies I have ever heard.
The Strege's had our family and a few other sweet families over for a more intimate time together following the reunion. How special the whole day was for us all and warmed our hearts on how many lives EA has touched and will continue to do so.
Snowflake Mamas!
Snuggles!
Oh, how I love the creative mind of this boy and the creations he makes for him and his siblings!
One week later we were back for our family reunion and Dad's retirement celebration time in Colorado. Unfortunately, the only pic of our day at Waterworld was on the way home. So much fun was had., but we were wiped!
An old handmade dress of Mama's made many Christmases ago by Grandma Ahlman.
Sweet Emmy and Grandpa A at family picture time.
A cute little belly outfit and an even cuter girl!
A blast of a fun time in Estes Park.
Dad's farewell service at Peace - complete with help from both his son and son-in-law.
One of the sweet highlights at Grandpa's retirement - the Grandkids sharing their favorite memories of Grandpa.
The drive home looked as if we were driving down into the clouds!
An unwanted and unwelcome guest found by Mommy in Shiloh's room.
